Chalet des Molliettes d'en Haut – Crest-Voland

1. Parties to the contract
This contract is made between:
- The landlord:
CLAR'ALMAJ SARL , a family company, represented by its managers.
Contact: chalet.molliettes@gmail.com – +33 6 48 04 47 18. - The lessee (tenant):
Any individual who has confirmed a reservation for one or all of the apartments at Chalet des Molliettes d'en Haut.
Booking implies full acceptance of these General Rental Conditions.
2. Reservation
The reservation concerns one or more of the apartments in the chalet located:
Les Molliettes d'en Haut, 2940 Route des Saisies, 73950 Crest-Voland (France).
The length of stay, arrival and departure times, and the total cost of the reservation are indicated in the confirmation sent to the tenant.
The tenant's reservation is considered final once they have:
-Received a booking confirmation from CLAR'ALMAJ SARL;
-Provided the number of adults and children for each apartment reserved, for tourist tax calculation;
-Paid 50% of the rental amount by bank transfer within five (5) days following the reservation;
-Sent proof of property damage insurance to: challet.molliettes@gmail.com
-Sent a security deposit check of EUR 200 to:
Mrs. Martine Stremsdoerfer, 14 rue Martin Basse, 69300 Caluire-et-Cuire;
-Paid the remaining 50% no later than 20 days before the start of the rental (a reminder will be sent).
-If one or more of these requirements are not fulfilled within the specified deadlines, the reservation is not considered final and CLAR'ALMAJ SARL reserves the right to cancel the reservation.

3. Price of the stay
The price includes:
- A base price depending on the season (high / low season).
- A contribution towards cleaning costs (added extra).
- The tourist tax, due for people aged 18 or over, is paid to the Val d'Arly Tourist Office (added extra).
- Specific conditions for direct bookings or bookings via platform are specified at the time of booking.
3.1 Payment for direct bookings
- 50% of the price of the stay is charged at the time of booking.
- The balance is due 20 days before arrival.
- A deposit is required by check or credit card imprint (amount of Eur 200) and is only charged in case of damage or loss of key.
3.2 Bookings via platform (e.g., Airbnb)
The platform's (e.g., Airbnb) payment and deposit rules apply.
4. Arrivals and departures
- Arrival: between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM. It is recommended to arrive before nightfall.
- Departure: before 10:00 am.
The keys are made available via a secure box. Access instructions are sent a few days before arrival.
5. Cancellation Policy
- Full refund for cancellations within 48 hours of booking, if arrival is more than 14 days away.
- 50% refund for cancellations made at least 15 days before arrival.
- No refunds will be given less than 15 days before the start of the stay.
6. Fire safety
The chalet is a wooden building dating from 1873:
- Smoking, lighting candles, or leaving a stove unattended is strictly prohibited.
- A fire hose is available on the ground floor.
The tenant agrees to comply with all safety rules.
7. Winter safety and rules related to the slopes
A green ski run passes in front of the chalet. The tenant agrees to:
- Respect the markings and instructions of the ski patrols.
- Check safety before crossing any runway.
- Do not leave young children unattended.
- Be vigilant about the dangers associated with snow sliding off roofs.
- Respect the passage of snow groomers.
- Use the Molliettes ski lift free of charge to reach Crest-Voland, if permitted.
8. Normal use of the chalet ("reasonable use")
The tenant agrees to:
- Respect the peace and quiet of the neighborhood.
- Do not exceed the maximum capacity indicated for the apartment (no additional mattresses allowed).
- Allow access to the owner or their representative for any necessary visits.
- Do not organize events that may damage the premises or disturb other occupants.
9. Maintenance and inventory of fixtures
- Any complaint regarding the condition of the accommodation must be communicated within 24 hours of arrival.
- Repairs due to negligence or misuse are the responsibility of the tenant.
- Damaged or missing furniture, equipment, dishes, bedding or decorations may be charged at the replacement cost.
10. Cleanliness and housekeeping
- The tenant must leave the premises in a reasonable condition upon departure.
- Professional cleaning is included, but does not cover abnormally dirty conditions.
11. Insurance
The tenant must be insured against rental risks (fire, water damage).
A certificate may be requested.
Any damage must be reported within 24 hours.
12. Parking
Winter :
- Parking is only permitted in the chalet's car park (8 spaces) located on the Route des Saisies below the chalet.
- Parking is strictly prohibited on the track in front of the chalet, on the Col des Saisies road or in the ski lift parking lot.
- It is forbidden to go onto the slope to leave belongings. However, the access path to the chalet is clear to facilitate arrivals and departures.
- Sleds are available to the right of the chalet to facilitate the transport of luggage.
Summer / Autumn:
- Parking is possible in the car park or near the chalet depending on the conditions.
13. Keys
- The keys are provided via a secure box.
- Two keys per apartment (three for Saint-Bernard).
- In case of loss, a flat fee of EUR 200 is charged to replace the keys.
- The replacement is only done on weekdays, during working hours.
14. Sheets and towels
- Not provided by default.
- A detailed list of what to bring is provided before the stay.
- A rental service via the concierge is available upon request.
15. Chalet Guide
Each apartment comes with a guide detailing:
- Site plans
- Bed size
- Practical information (TV, Internet…)
- FAQ
The tenant agrees to read it before contacting the landlord.
16. Respect for the environment and the alpine site
The chalet is located in an alpine pasture area. The tenant must:
- Never throw rubbish or cigarette butts around the chalet.
- Sort and dispose of your waste at the collection points on Route des Saisies.
- In summer, respect electric fences and grazing areas.
- Do not disturb the livestock.
17. Acceptance
Booking constitutes full and complete acceptance of these conditions.
